A Strategic Risk Assesment Framework

A “Risk Assessment” process is foundational to an effective risk program. If a Risk Leader gets this right it will take the overwhelming to manageable and make the manageable actionable. A best practice risk assessment process is founded in Enterprise Risk Management Principles that applies logic to the decision process and drives limited time and resources to what is most important.  By having a structured process to introduce facts (Risk Assessment Framework), obstacles become less relevant. Obstacles due to silos and personal agendas are filtered through the eyes of standardized “Rating Processes” that force decisions based on logic. In this session, Traditional Risk Managers will gain practical insight on how to put structure to their risk systems that will allow CFOs and the executive team to make “Apples to Apples” comparisons between hazard risk and other risks the organization faces.
