Presentation Title
En Garde - Reducing amputation risk

About the Presentation

Machinery is the primary cause of amputations in the occupational workplace. One of the most important steps an employer can take to reduce the risk of this and other severe machine-related workplace injuries is machine guarding. An OSHA focus point, machine guarding consistently remains in OSHA’s top ten most frequently cited standards. This session will review best practices as applied in practical, real-life scenarios, while encouraging audience questions and discussion.
